imagine that. 'just hide them behind the curtain'. was he talkin about votes? no, he was talkin about anti-muslim bumper stickers. on sale at the - get this, are you ready? - the Conservative Poltical Action Conference. i'm not shitting you. look.

KAMEN
"One of the various exhibition booths hawking paraphernalia had some virulently anti-Muslim vinyl bumper stickers, for $3.95, including one that said: "No Muslims -- No Terrorism." The booth operators removed the anti-Muslim stickers from the rack before Cheney spoke -- though they left up some more tasteful items, such as the stamps that said: "WANTED! Crimes against children," and had a picture of former attorney general Janet Reno, "A.K.A. 'The Butcher of Waco.' " And they left others supporting the Confederate flag and such. But the offending stickers were not really taken off sale. When a Washington Post reporter asked about the anti-Muslim bumper stickers, a booth attendant smiled and reached behind a sheet, saying conference organizers had ordered her to take them off display."

there's just something really demented about the republicans. poopyheads are too good of a term for them.
why the poopyhead plan for the economy can not succeed. it would be like expecting the economy of my town to improve if i spent all my money at one store. defense spending is good. too much defense spending is bad. not bad because of the bellicose appearance it creates, but because it deprives the rest of the corporate-welfare bunch to lose their purpose.
one more nation onboard.... with the right thing to do.

JAPAN
A pre-emptive attack on Iraq because they might be some future danger is intolerable as long as there is no clear evidence of an imminent threat.
spin spin spin. are we dizzy yet?

US is misquoting my Iraq report, says Blix - smh.com.au Days after delivering a broadly negative report on Iraq's cooperation with international inspectors, Hans Blix challenged several of the Bush Administration's assertions about Iraqi cheating and the notion that time was running out for disarming Iraq through peaceful means.
In an interview on Wednesday, Dr Blix, the United Nations chief weapons inspector, seemed determined to dispel any impression that his report was intended to support the United States' campaign to build world support for a war to disarm Saddam Hussein.

well, thanks to all those that made FIELDS OF POOPY number #1 on google. keep the mail comin!
had to copy & paste again the tiny pieces. blogger's really sick today. really sick, cuz the CR seems to be disappearing and making the paragraphs run togheter. c'mon guys, you almost got me hooked.

today's TP:

USAT fronts the contention from unnamed "U.S. diplomats and intelligence officials" that Iraqis are somehow learning about UN inspectors' plans. The officials told USAT that they've seen evidence that Iraq is cleaning up sites slated for inspection well before inspectors arrive. The paper quotes a UN official acknowledging the early cleanups but also saying they're not a sign that Saddam has infiltrated the U.N. team. (The paper doesn't unduly exert itself and try to explain the discrepancy.)

what it also fails to explain is why arent the gooks supplying this to the inspectors?

***************

israel fucked up yesterday re-appointing sharon over mitzna. its not surprising however. given that the string pullers won again here.

***************************

heh, and TP gets to the bottom of their column to state the obvious:

In a few places, the president played Pinocchio (or was at least misleading), and the papers mostly give him a pass. The NYT for instance, notes that the president "promised his American audience tax relief for ordinary families and for investors in the stock market." Setting aside the use of the loaded-term "tax relief," the sentence was a concise summary of Bush's assertion that his tax cuts will save 92 million Americans "an average of almost $1,000." Except that that assertion is deceptive, as NYT's Paul Krugman and others have pointed out. (Americans whose income is near the national mean would probably save a few hundred bucks.)

Something more significant that the papers should have flagged: During the speech, Bush contended that Iraq is still trying to develop nukes. He said Saddam has tried to buy uranium from a source in Africa, and also that Iraq has imported specialized aluminum tubes for nuclear development. Chief UN nuke inspector Mohamed El-Baradei has said he hasn't seen any evidence supporting the first allegation and has explained that the second one probably isn't true. (A Post piece not connected to the president's speech reiterates that point.) Idea: Why don't the papers do a regular feature looking at the accuracy of assertions in major speeches--just like some do with campaign ads?

can we say incubator robbers?

but the question of why the papers can't validate their reporting before press, is indicative of the left-wing bias aintit. mwahahaha

all morning the template server musta been takin a poop. couldnt reach the editor. but i'm here now. only, so is diva. so i'm pasting the notes i made earlier. sorry this isnt formatted and broken up into nice and paletable pieces, but hey. sue me. want a subscription?

the (des moines) register, for all it's waffling, has a problem they have a blind editorial board. either that, or their tv needs repair. today's 'lusty' praise for the SOTU last night is making for good poopy today. are you the lucky ones.

http://www.dmregister.com/opinion/stories/c2125555/20349845.html

An impassioned President Bush laid out his case Tuesday night for why Iraq"s Saddam Hussein is a fearsome threat to America and to world peace and why the United States must be prepared to go to war against him - alone if need be. It was his single most coherent speech articulating the case for a war.

impassioned? are you for real? the sex lives of that editorial board must be perty nasty if their definition of passion is what ocurred last night.

******
http://www.dmregister.com/opinion/stories/c2125555/20343087.html

It is not hard to sympathize with the musicians, movie makers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers, however. Every time someone downloads a song, a CD or a DVD, it cuts into their revenue. It's theft.

wait a minute here. this is absurd. the editorial board either didn't have their morning pot of coffee today, or they took some stupid poopy pills last nite instead of viagra.

*psssst*... BULLETIN: the music i've grab'd off kazaa, ISNT AVAILABLE TO BUY.

but see, its like this partial birth syndrome the poopys like to tout as a 'valid' reason for banning ALL abortion. just because one or two cases of it exist, ok, more than 1 or 2, but not EVERY... we ALL have to suffer the consequences of the actions of those few.

unless the "we" doesnt include the poopyheads. then we just look the other way and shrug it off as 'part of life' ... part of life is the next phrase i'm going to yell back at these poops who beride me for wanting peace in iraq.

it goes on with:
It remains to be seen whether the strategy of scaring people into buying rather than stealing music and movies works. But something has to change. There is no such thing as a free lunch - or free entertainment. When someone gets something for free, rest assured, someone pays.

remains schemains. the poops have proven that scaring people will do miraculous things. someone pays. sure someone pays you dopes. i pay to read your column, but you're not getting the money. neenor neen0r

another letter on give peace a chance in LTTE, this time from raymond goulden of des moines. is there anybody in west des moines that wants peace before war? i certainly haven't noticed any letters from folx in poopyville advocating peace. anyway, back to raymondy's letter. bravo, sir.

another letter writer, this one from craig johnsen, president/ceo (wow, poopy-free executive!), continuing care retirement community, friendship haven in fort dodge, has opined that the register was off-base when it implied that there are only 3 people advocating the seniors.... and craig corrects that assertion by showing that there are thousands on the front-lines advocating abuse-neglect-free nursing homes. but the phrase that caught my eye, not that i'm indifferent to seniors by any means, was this:

A number of legislative and regulatory bodies have institutionalized the negative view of long-term care

institutionalized the negative view. what a great expression. one that could be used here time and again. one that will be used here time and again. thanks craig.

***************

last letter, one by poopyhead jeff brinkman, with a location of 'Colo.'. coloradoans are now taking interest in the opinion of iowans? how sweet. probably a transplant. life wasn't good enough in iowa probably. but hey, gotta keep up the propaganda. he demonstrates his ignorance so well by writing:

Machacha gave Ames as his address, but said he was from the Third World. What is he doing here? Getting a free education in America - a country he seems to hate? Doesn't the Third World have schools?

free education in ames?? are you nuts? nobody's getting a free education in ames, i assure you. someone's payin for it that's for sure. and i would bet you that he is worthy of whoever is paying for it, should it be that a third party is footing the bill. i would also be right in taking the same liberties this transplant in colorado takes by assuming that this kid probably works part time somewhere. hell, it could very well be a kid that works for one of your companies. but hey, i don't know. just as you don't know. but at least i got the guts to say when i don't know.

but he continues with this inciteful pen with:

Why is it people from other countries, as well as our own, spit on us, despise us and commit acts of terrorism, yet come to us after an earthquake, drought, famine, locusts - it doesn't matter?

spit on us? SPIT ON US? a poopyhead, a good poopyhead, would treat peace as spit. and this one's on the right road to getting the award for the iowa poopyhead of the month. he spreads the propaganda on thicker with:

People hate us with one breath and come to us begging with the next. They come here for health care. I have yet to see conjoined twins go to Iraq for surgery. I have yet to see an experimental life-saving technology draw people to Africa.

so let me get this straight. you want people to believe the lie that everybody hates us. and with that, you provide evidence of the american flag on fire in some foreign demonstration. or provide headlines in some moonie newspaper about anti-american this or anti-american that in all these countries. yet, you provide the very proof that it's all a lie because... and this is where i smile - they love us and our ability to cure. in other words, THEY HATE THE POLICY OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION not US.

SOTU. brought to you by the masters of poopy, FAUX, er FOX news.. same thing aintit. of course, the prep highlighting the 'deliverying results'. WHAT RESULTS??? highlighting the difference between the democratic thinking and the republican proposals. look at the careful use of language. like prebuttal - huh ... anxious, unsteady, uncertain, 2mil jobs lost under bosh, cities & states raising taxes, and where's osama. quite the PRE buttal huh.

clerk making an 'announcement'. anounces the chimp. blue tie. blue suit. she's in wine. hah, bush and newsheads at lunch - what tie .. red or blue, bush asks? newheads say red. bush says.. you lose, i'm wearing blue.
i'm posting the MADE IN THE U.S.A. pic back up. fuck them if they cant take the truth.
i spoze i should post this, just to be fair and all. god knows, we dont do faux around here.
Asked whether the United States would use limited nuclear weapons in Iraq, Elizabeth Jones, US assistant secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, replied: “The answer is no.”

oy kee dok ee. we shall see. we shall see. telling pakistan no, is one thing. not nuking iraq like you say, is another. someone had a quote recently from some ditto-head in the mainstream trough about how bush talks the talk,, but cant walk the walk. or something like that. oh, ya, he talks good, but he duznt do good. i actually heard that on a show on faux. of course, the immediate reaction was *click*, we'll be right back. ya, rite. *click*
wanna feel scared? real scared?

It would make no difference whether Iraq actually had any weapons of mass destruction or not. Washington would simply claim that Baghdad did indeed have such weapons and was “about to use them,” but that the American nuclear strikes had “prevented” this from happening
DAILY TIMES OF PAKISTAN

unless fate has its grip on this, we're headed for the one. there's just something about the amount and severity of events that have happened in such a short period of time. yes, bu$h is fate folx. the best we can do is weather the storm.
dan rather, i take issue with your equating anti-war rallies as being kin to the ignorant who are as you said, 'out of step'. we see where your strings are held.
medicare reform with this move of teh populace to private insurance, HMO i assum. i dont disagree with that. i was in the one in new york, and it suited me fine. but then, i'm not like a lot of people who will use the ER for a sniffle. so, ya, i can agree with this. and i think the objections are strictly political. so, mr bush, you follow up on this in the 'right' way, and not the 'right-wing' way, it will work. ok diva
creating the "X" factor. the XEROX factor in how these, as in the words of the howler, ditto-heads, report the news. if my cat diva will leave me alone during the dinner hour, i'll try and X the reports out. i've been watching cbs .. not only because its the local station, but because they do have a way of handling the propaganda. not always to my liking, but i can usually tell the 'real story behind the reported story' without much effort. but i'll do cbs, nbc, abc, cnn, msnbc, and god help me, faux, er fox, news. i'd like to start tonite, since its the night of SOTU. that god in the western hemisphere of this planet that defines public opinion predicability. like the sunday talk shows, it sets the 'calednar' if you will. karl's a smart d00d. he really is. he's just a waste of good talent, imho. ok diva.
the best piece of journalism today comes from ms matthews over at the WP:

The threat posed by Iraq is contained for now. Any attempt at external aggression would be instantly overwhelmed. Inside the country, the inspection teams preclude any significant advance in weapons-of-mass-destruction programs. The only other source of threat is the extremely unlikely possibility that Saddam Hussein would give some of what he regards as his crown jewels to terrorists. That would be to put his life in the hands of those he cannot control. The only condition under which he would be remotely tempted to do so would be if he believed he was about to be wiped out -- in a war. Weigh that risk against the near certainty that a war will be seen in the region as an American war that will draw thousands of new recruits into the ranks of terrorist America-haters. The U.S. homeland is unready for that threat. The only possible conclusion is that while the status quo is safe for the American people, a war will put us at great risk.

proof that the hypocrisy of the GOP is alive and prospering in the west wing.

"The United Nations resolution did not put the burden of proof on the United States or the U.N. to prove that Iraq has these weapons," Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld said last week. "The U.N. resolution put the burden directly on Iraq to prove that it is disarming and that it does not have these weapons." In other words, Iraq must prove a negative, and is refusing to do so. Almost a year to the day before Rumsfeld's remark, Fleischer was asked why the administration would not release details about meetings with energy companies such as Enron Corp. to prove that nothing untoward occurred. Fleischer replied: "You're asking us to prove a negative, and that's a road that we're not traveling.'

for the all the carry'n on i do, i do it out of love. love for this country. love for the peace that humanity should be enjoying. my heart is broken because i can not find this administration to be one i can respect. there's just too many things that go against that american-borne grain in me. being raised in iowa, and holding values that are true to the heart, i try and try, but just can't muster up the chutzpah needed to deal with poopy. i wish georgie was a leader that could say, no, no war. we do this without bloodshed. but then. we all have wishes. as they used to say around here, if wishes were fishes, we'd all have a fry.
the transcript's up.

addnendum 2221CST: i musta been in one hell of a hurry cuz i just now saw that my grab was only a partial transcript. the one cnn pointed to without so much as saying so. my mistake. i'm hunting for the unabridged version now.
Degraded Into a Trade' In calling for a new look at resurrecting the draft, Rep. Charles Rangel raises a very good point. Our all-volunteer force, for all its many virtues, is not representative of American society. The privileged are largely absent from it. Thus the burdens of defense and the perils of combat do not fall even close to fairly across all of our society.

ayup. confirms the chris matthews college tour question of who supports the war and who would go to war, was 95% and 5% respectively.
david gregory asks what are we being protected from. air spews out take a step back. wmd will inflict untold horror. millions of weapon of terror. TERROR. FEAR. stress those words TERRORIST. FEAR FEAR ... jeeezuz. where's the meter on those sentences??

followup by gregory. real danger. wmd. al-Q. there's that word. again. saddam and alQ. and oh my GOD, he's opening for ari. fuck you boy.

now we're getting the iraqi trained detainees. there ARE contacts between alQ and saddam. too late for the smoke on a smoking gun. gregory persiss with the issues. cant quite understand where he's going on this. keep associating saddam with alQ. i jus wish everybody who mentioned alQ would instead mention osama. i'll bet the ansers would be totally different.

chem & bio weapons again. FEAR .. there's that word. ice berg agian. again agin agina again. jeeziz, cant type. cold in here. but suffice it to say. 16 chem warheads? 300 years to find remaining weapons the un says saddam has. the more time they get the more time they get the run around. get me the barf bag PLEASE!!!
questions after the schedule:
1. pres willing to wait? pleased they're there. assessments they did. process is running out of time. not heard a time period.
2. why not get on with it? it's important to work with world leaders. problem possession unaccounted. there's that word!
3. concensus? this week? no timetable. failure to comply remains the very threat.
4. ??? judgement the pres will have to make. that was probably a question of when will he declare.
now we have diatribe. who opened that??
back again with the 9/11 shit. economy, HC, security homeland and national. final point. continue to consult. aliies. not ally. evaluate the information he has. what saddam presents. if we reach the end of the line. only way to disarm him with force, the pres will make announcement on all the tv stations.
5. iraq & international support. blix report indicated unaccounted weapons. vx possession, whereabouts. tip of ice berg. there we go. anthrax? and 150 km range. whats with all these things here. where's that fuckn transctpt. cant type. cant see.
tip of iceberg. the banners of faux news. the clips. tip of iceberg in the same sentence of 'unaccounted'. i still cant find the transcript online yet. please mail me if you know where it is. oh jeee, of course, ari's gotta get his daily vomitting done.
oh gag. faux news, ch205 on dish. gota keep up with the enemy dontwe. i mean, aint that the poopy way of dancing before we kill each other? anyway, lemme see if i cant stomach at least an hour. of it.
msnbc - here we go ... cris jansing's pickout of context video clip of blix. they're definitely taking the que from the iron fist of Rove & Co. there's unbelievable pounding going on somewhere in washington right about now. you can bet on that. lots of pickout clips to paint iraq in its most damning light. there's no doubt there's been problems with iraqi cooperation. but is this cause for bloodshed?? and the very VERY real possibility of nuclear destruction? the body bags are going to pile up if we dont wake up and give peace a chance. if we stopped with these threats, and let the inspections continue, there'd be no need for saddam to be so defensive. i'm not a subscriber to the theory that he is a madman... on the contrary, i subscribe to the theory that we already have a madman.
excuse me while i vomit. and find bigger golashes. negroponte is a bald headed sexually frustrated pinnochio. but i'm not hearing anything new. must excuse himself from questions. paula summing up with inaccurate and incomplete. now we get greenstock the onion on the other side of the pond. informal consultations to ask blix more questions. stuff that cant be produced in public. don't look for conclusivity. report back to capitals, debate on wednesday to make positions - inclususive that they may be. further report on feb 14? catalog of unresolved questions. not be resolved thru the process without 100% cooperation from iraq. grey style = south african model. they need guidance for where to look. differentiating passive cooperation. its not time, but attitude, and its not a good attitude from the iraqis. time is running out. lets see if we cant get iraqi cooperation. oh well. they skip another ambassador comments. some black guy. wonder who that wuz. msnbc, next up.
here we go. first up ... blonde booby poopyhead paula zahn. she gives the 'peace a chance' a mention, then stresses the iraqi non-compliance. i guess that sets the stage for diarrhea mouth wolf. ok, negroponte up. and of course, that prepared statement couldn't possibly include a reaction to a report that was just given, now could it. but it's amazing the picture in people's minds they get when they stage him right after blix.
cnn's summary banner is full of scare tactic language. the iron fist of rove must be banging that buzzer everytime blix makes a statement, especially one that questions iraq's integrity. blix is a professional, there's no doubt about that. he uses the language of a professional. cnn uses language of a poopyhead. in fact, i'll bet there's a live line to cnn's master control from the west wing. any takers? i wonder who'll be first to get the transctipt of his report up. cnn probably. *shush*
lets see if i get this right. 'we're not ready yet so we'll give you some more time, mr blix', when only a month ago, we were prepared and all that shit. what happened to that preparation status? did something happen that made that a mistaken call? this is an important point nobody seems to be picking up on yet. until now i guess. hopefully someone will turn the page, and get a glimpse at the reality of this 'buildup'.
another story that is disturbingly missing from the headlines of the last month, is one about the scenario of a turned-tables situation. imagine for a moment, that we americans were in the shoes of the iraqi citizens. that we had a foreign power banging down our door with threats of all out war. that we had them demanding we not shoot their spy planes. that we had them bombing facilities, and deploying unmanned drones. imagine if you would, how it would feel to go outside and be concerned about that store on the corner being there the next day. you cant. unless you've actually had to. i dont know if there are any middle-eastern readers here, but i'm in iowa. about as safe a place as you can get in america any more. but do not take this as a side with israel. i'm as inclined against sharon as i am against bu$h. lthey're separated at birth as far as i'm concerned. israel topics perty much reside over on the FARPOINT.STATION blog. but suffice it to say. the attitude of americans would shift dramatically, as it has, but exponentially so, if they had to live under the cover of fear day after day after day. and all this talk about taking out saddam is going to make that not happen, is absolutely pissy. the smelliest poop you can find.
while i'm on the subject of 'people who pay too much', let me just ask another question here. when they pay too much could it be that they prefer to not pay at all? or just how much is not 'too much'? the tax cuts being proposed, as everybody knows, but will argue for the sake of argument, that they favor the upper echelon. the very same people who, are supposed to use it to create jobs, are taking it to offshore accounts. where is the evidence that providing the upper class of indiividuals with unreal money - and by that i mean money that they're saving, not making - creates jobs? i certainly havent seen any. even turning on faux news, not a peep. just lots of baseless claims that get tons of airplay and spin by the masters of spin - read: Rove & Co. - that the sky is green. well, they might as well sell that while they're selling that other load of crap.
is there some simple logic to the idear, the poop, of crying that we already pay too much for a government that's in the red? the same people who 'pay too much' are the same people robbing the store. jeezuz, how much more stinky can you get.
.
stumbled upon this fab site. so nice to see that we are not alone.
cbs morning show segments a report 5 miles from the iraqi border in kuwait, about an exercise with live fire announcement from the d0d. what really gets me is how we're blaming iraqis for preparing for the war that we're preparing to deliver to them? i just dont get it. do you?
and finally for des moines (kewl town btw, you should stop and have a drink) we have the Quote of the Day:
While I am sure that business ethics are mentioned somewhere in the curriculum for most schools of business, my feeling is that there is more emphasis on learning to successfully funnel money into private hands.

Where do the "rights" of companies like KPMG end, and when do we begin to reflect on "what's right"?

Richard Leutzinger,
Urbandale.

thanks richard!
continuing with the letters (3 poop-antipoop letters in a day is unusual for a small paper like the des moines register) this is definitely poop. we have clark sheets of sheldon writing:
One of the things that has always puzzled me about the pacifist crowd is how they can be such experts on war when so few seem to have had actual military experience.

hey, mister, i was serving aboard a nuclear submarine in 1980. what the fuck were you doing?
ok, i'll tone it down since he seems to qabble on with:
No one wishes so fervently for peace as a soldier, particularly when he is frightened, far from home and in imminent physical peril. What he also understands, however, is that in our imperfect world there are times when battle is necessary

of course. when NECESSARY. that's the key word here sir. WE ARE NOT ANTI-DEFENSE. WE ARE FOR UNNECESSARY MASS DESTRUCTION. got it class? then he quotes george orwell *gasp*:
"War is evil, and often the lesser evil."

ofen, again the key word here is OFTEN. yes, WWII being one of them. the other wars, well, korean i spoze, vietnam? are you kidding. gulfwar 1, probably. 2? obviously not. then he concludes with:
Conversation with a veteran might at least add a little reasoned debate to peace activists' current stock of smugness and slogans

i sure in the fuck hopeso. you're having a one sided conversation with one right now. if one has to be smug and have slogans, so be it. it seems to be the only way the message can get across any more.

even richer, the letter following it:
Don't follow that order
It was determined after World War II that the instigation of war is a crime against humanity. The political leaders of both Germany and Japan were tried and convicted in a court of law on this charge.

The defense of "just following orders" was rejected. It was determined that no person, military or non-military, is required to obey illegal orders. An order beginning a war was by definition an illegal order.

Most scholarly work done on the subject of war has determined that a "just war" is a war of self-defense.

Since President Bush is attempting to initiate a preemptive war, it follows that this war is both illegal and unjust. Therefore, neither the military nor civilian institutions are required to obey Bush's orders in that regard.

The Rev. Robert Price,
Prairie City.

most definitely - the ANTI-POOPYHEAD AWARD goes to the rev.

oh this is rich. letter in today's des moines register by palmer holden includes this qutie:
Everyone wants peace, but someone has to pay for it.

she conveniently forgot the flip side to that: Not everyone wants war, but everybody's got to pay for it.

the grand poopyhead award for today goes to the banks doing this. this is the class warfare being waged by the poopyheads. the poopyheads who contributed so heavily to the monkey's campaign, so they'll get a pass at the ethics table.

DSM Register
It is reported that more than 1,000 banks have been encouraging customers to overdraw their accounts. New ATM and debit cards allow people to withdraw more money than is available for them. And the people might not even realize they're overdrawing, because they were automatically enrolled in the option that allows this to happen.
Then they're charged as much as $35 for each overdraft, and the money has to be paid back right away. That translates into about 1,000 percent annual rate of interest for the banks. Millions of dollars in fees. Those banks, once trusted institutions, are encouraging customers to be fiscally irresponsible.
why hasnt anybody seen the truth? bu$h wants iraq to lay down all its weapons simply so that any american casualties, which would be catastrophic in the homeland, would be minimal. there's no way bu$h will not invade iraq. all this bullshit about the administration not making a decision yet, is one of the biggest lies since the assination of kennedy. and as i've said already, the bu$hies are going to 'give us a bone' and say they'll give inspectors more time - but the truth of the matter is, they're not ready. yet, the america press will gobble it up like a hungry fish with headlines like BUSH TO EXTEND TIME FOR INSPECTORS.

that wuz quick. dashcle doin the same old shit. nothing new. injects help for states. pointing out differences. they're going with the recommendations of leading economists. bob > rich v poor? daschle > figures figures figures. then hands off the lead to amy. congress first before attack? daschle wont commit. but advocates more time. with limitation. what i dont understand is why bob wont press for the 'share the intelligence we supposedly have with inspectors and let them prove the bu$hies were right' line. wimp. bob > another resolution? daschle > wouldnt require another resolution. american people want it. tries to shirt the burden of proof on jr. bob > go alone? daschle > again, burden of proof on georgie. bob > agree with kerry about the 'rush to war'? daschle > ought not to rush. counterproductive if we do. back to amy > building blocks for medicare. prescription drugs. afford not to compromise? daschle > bush plan for HMO, not patients. absolutely wrong. problem? HMO is not universal. iowa doesnt have them. south dakota doesnt either. amy again questions the timeliness. dashcle > tosses out the senior citizen tail. there's room for compromise. bob > stock dividend dead? daschle > yes. enough opposition. huge handout to those who dont need it. bob > democrats in last election? daschle > we did better than you realize. picked up governorships. 44K votes shy of control of senate. regaining senate in 2004. bob back with final word after this.

card is making the rounds. on face the nation. bob scheiffer isnt one of my most respected journalists. or commentators. but we'll see how much reptition we get.

SOTU: bob: where's the connection between 9/11 & iraq. card: iraq's history. again. again. again. SHUT THE FUCK UP ALREADY ASSHOLE. oh sorry, that wuz meant for the tv.

cook report. amy ... who is amy? what is this cook political report? she gets to ask how is jr addressing the threat of iraq. our oceans cant protect us any more (card). more blather. about progress. about war that'll continue for some time. that we're resolved to win. terrorists would like to do dastardly things to us. we have a stable economy. throws out health care. oh there's that compassionate word again. twice. TWICE. how fruckn slick is that huh. bob's back on the war. more time possible? card: again, time is running out. its not about inspectors. its about saddam. a long tirade of the same old shit. POOPY so thick you now need a bulldozer. there's the facts that cant be proven already. or saying that the cannisters are there is proof. the reason we wont tell the inspectors is cuz the burden is on saddam. how does that answer the fuckn question asshole. back on the SOTU being 'a comic show of variety sorts'. to include all the issues. not concentrate on iraq. hm. ok. bob : is he going to tell us something we dont know. card: saddam hasnt answerd the questions. CAN THIS POOPYHEAD NOT HEAR THE QUESTION BEFORE HIM? amy's back on the economy now. again, how does he address the economy. card: pres did this, pres did that. relief for everybody. we can create jobs. that good ol' mantra.for labor. the tax system is unfair. double taxation on dividends. the same ol. there's that senior citizens bone. bob challenges the 'rich v poor' and gives card 1st response to daschle's later response. not political. blame the dems for being political. daschle up after this break.
let me see if i got this right now. jr slams affirmative action in colleges. then he wants to raise the pay for people in goverment with 'special skills'. makes sense to employees of poopyhead, inc i spoze.... but not to me. of course, its hidiously clear what is going on here. but people are just not getting the real message for some reason. i wish someone could put their finger on why this country still seems to be in shock.

cbs sunday morning is always a breath of fresh air. john mayer was in a segment. what a cutie. he deserves a place. definitely not a poopyhead. wanna know how i can tell? the camera was on him like stink on shit. and there's just something about the eyes of someone who's not a poopyhead. cant really explain it. but you'll know it when you see it. and for those that still have trouble, that's why we're here.

baker: pres hasn't made the decision. jeezuz. the resolution only authorizes, not requires. oh my GOD get this guy a shovel will ya? kennedy is on and is strong, but missed the first salvo. oh wait, thats a tape. lets see if the SOTU makes the numbers skyrocket the way they're planning.

ok, is bushwatch open today? and where the hell is slate at?

mcconnell. dodd's a dudd.

russert's heavy on the 'shoving repug quotes' in their faces about how jr is fuckng up. ok, mcC. again, that no doubt he has. where is the fuckn PROOF. these fuckn poopyheads can not prove their claims. when is this going to stop? confidence in the 'team'. saddam & alQ. dodd: no evidence. mcC is starting to shift in his seat. hm. dodd wants proof. mcC will 'trust' the 'man'. talk about the effects the proof should have, without having the proof. this has got to be chapter something in the RPM, rite?

SOTU: dodd. perhaps more quickly than others would like. the numbers are high becuz ppl tend to rally for the CIC.

stock dividends: mcC .. tax reduction package. pres wants action. and action we'll give him. not accepting deficit spending. ??? robust. robust. repeat it one more time mcC. blasting the $300 check dems have proposed. the thing is a 'package'. dodd: compare $300 to $27,000 'welfare' (mcC words) checks ... hah. good one. unfair to average families. nothing goin to happen now. still misses the point $300 will NOT stimulate mr. dodd. less than $1/day for the average person. throws out dangerous. goes in the wrong direction.

SSA: 2017 is the magic number. dodd returns to the tax package. connects it to the trust fund. mcC. deficits now? i'm amazed he wants to slam deficit spending. sayin the dems didnt pass the house appropriations. this guy is amazingly transparent of a stupid old man. you can always tell a man by the way he waves his hand. and this 'man' is not a 'man' eye would want. right plan to make the economy get rolling rapidly, huh. blah blah blah. FIELDS OF POOPY, in its finest form.

ok, RACE and that's my Que to get a smoke in. i'm not touching this one.

starting to look more like the poopyheads are crying 'why not me too'. i dunno what exactly is making that stick, but its a thought that's been going through my head off and on for a while now, and being as how card is on spewing out the propaganda cuz nobody else would, kinda makes the case for a big-deal SOTU. hm.

what bothers me most about iraq thing, is exactly what is going to happen after we bomb the shit outta 'em. i mean, where are the plans about how to resurrect the lives of millions of people who obviously will have life's basic needs compromised severely. and if anybody doesnt think that this is going to get a whole lot uglier than being touted by the DoD, they are going to get a whallop on the butt that'll leave a mark for some time to come. this will be a decades long problem for America, for a host of reasons. (1) it'll make more people more unhappy with our government (2) we'll lose the credibility of what America should mean (3) it'll take a decade plus to get the oil within reach of their present goals. especially if saddam does the nasty.

senator dodd on. russert belts into the 'have we made a case for war', and dodd goes with the 'not ruling out unilateral action' he's swinging his head from side to side so fuckn fast its hard to keep up with his 'give them more time' but 'we need to act'. i mean, make up your mind senator. but maybe his heart has the dove rather than the chickenhawk. is he a vet? and who's this sittin next to him? its cold in here.

andy card is a 'card' carrying charter member of Scheißekopf Inc. we went grom +236B to -300B. now they're denyhing they knew they were in a recession before they took office. how fuckn stupid does he think we are?? then he blames 9/11, then corporate scandals. this guy is a real piece of work. the devil spent a lot of time on that mold. when i look at andy - andy, of the mayberry machiavelli klan - i think kennyboy. the crooked E. when you knock over the "E" you get a "W" dontcha?

argh
i'm curious. how do poopyheads expect us to pay for their toys of mass destruction - BULLETIN: russert: will the U.S. go nuclear on iraq? card: no comment. WE RETURN YOU TO YOUR NORMAL LIFE NOW. where was i? the punk's numbers are in the 50's, which means the americans have to be shocked again to get those numbers back up. i think 55 is the magic number. anyway, where was i? oh ya. jus a thought. all these tax cuts and shitty talk about how the government is taking too much money from the citizens it serves, does that mean we're not getting our money's worth? and just how do these poopyheads expect us to pay for their toys of mass destruction if the tax base was diminished. those toys are not cheap!

where's my coffee.
