A combatant who falls into the power of an adverse Party while failing to meet the requirements set forth in the second sentence of paragraph 3 shall forfeit his right to be a prisoner of war, but he shall, nevertheless, be given protections equivalent in all respects to those accorded to prisoners of war by the Third Convention and by this Protocol. This protection includes protections equivalent to those accorded to prisoners of war by the Third Convention in the case where such a person is tried and punished for any offences he has committed.
5. Any combatant who falls into the power of an adverse Party while not engaged in an attack or in a military operation preparatory to an attack shall not forfeit his rights to be a combatant and a prisoner of war by virtue of his prior activities. "

oh shit, i forgot what i wanted to post now dammmmit. it was something about rummy in iraq today. that there was no coverup involved and that nobody was taking responsibility for the interrogations except those losers in the lower ranks.

oh yeah, so i wanted to know something: would they admit to it if they did attempt any 'coverup'? i mean, could you just see the president saying that he takes full responsibility for what happened over there. that he takes full responsibility for the missing WMD? or full responsibility for ANYthing? except that he has made his buddies rich beyond their dreams maybe.

and it's certainly understandable that America does not want to be seen as the losers in this. but hey, we were never going to be winners.
it's always "it's just a handfull"... which logically would diminish the veracity of our forces if just a handfull have been sending home body bag after body bag. iow, if only a 'handfull' is capable of doing this much damage on the most powerful military in the world, then God help us. handfull my ass.
i have come to the conclusion that half of America, nor nearly half, are either (1) illiterate and stupid, or (2) blinded by the dollar. there is just no other explanation to why bu$h's numbers remain as high as they do.
intelligence sources say.... i always cringe when i hear those words by some dittohead. why? because, intel sources didn't say the right things before 9/11. intel got it ALL wrong on iraq... so why in God's name should i trust them now?

which leads me to only one answer: because it wasn't a massive intel failure at all. but rather the direction taken when there are 'failures' is exactly where some, who just happen to hold power of the most powerful nation on the planet, would like to be. evidence of that? the PNAC.
Editors seek pro-Bush letters

Perhaps 100% of your readers have woken up to the fact that George Bush is a spoiled, overprivileged, shallow, arrogant, lying, hypocritical, petty, vindictive, opportunistic, influence peddling, wartime deserting, sociopathic, warmongering, tinhorn dictator.
Most Iraq detainees held in error, report says: "WASHINGTON -- Coalition military intelligence officials estimated that 70 percent to 90 percent of prisoners detained in Iraq since the war began last year 'had been arrested by mistake,' according to a confidential Red Cross report."

watching fox, i heard dick morris (a real dick) who responded to the anchor's question of 'well, don't _all politicians color the truth?' with this gem: "they all wear makeup, but she wears a mask."

anyway, i think i finally got the new look stable.

hey hey HEY, the new look is so gay!
the shit is hitting the fan. only the fan isn't where it should be landing. it should be landing on the steps of the whitehouse. why? because, this was known and warnings were issued long before anything started to halt these crimes.

once again, warnings were made, and ignored by this administration. warnings of 9/11. warnings of iraq aligning with al-qaeda. warnings of the abuse of iraqi POWs. warnings flying all over the place. how many more warnings have there been about something that we haven't found out about yet?
